Award Chart Changes (effective March 25, 2021)

1. Why did more hotels change than was announced in October 2020?
In evaluating the market conditions for these hotels, it was determined that additional adjustments were needed.

4. How many hotels shifted to a higher category?
A total of 10 hotels moved to a higher award category. Free night award redemptions at these hotels require additional World of Hyatt points for reservations made beginning at 8:00 a.m. CDT, March 25, 2021.

5. How many hotels shifted to a lower category?
One hotel moved to a lower award category. Free night award redemptions at this hotel require fewer World of Hyatt points for reservations made beginning at 8:00 a.m. CDT, March 25, 2021.

Any Free Night Award booked prior to 8:00 a.m. CDT, March 25, 2021, at a property that shifted to a higher category and requires more points will not be affected. Reservations remain in place at the originally booked point level. For example, a Free Night Award booked at a Category 1 hotel for 5,000 points before 8:00 a.m. CDT, March 25, 2021, that moved to a Category 2 hotel for 8,000 points remains at 5,000 points.
