You may earn World of Hyatt points on “MGM Rewards-Eligible Spend” at participating MGM Rewards destinations. MGM Rewards Eligible Spend consists of both MGM Rewards-Eligible Room Spend and MGM Rewards-Eligible Incidental Spend:
- MGM Rewards-Eligible Room Spend is room rate spend on MGM Rewards-Eligible Nights.
- MGM Rewards-Eligible Incidental Spend means any incidental charges charged directly to the member’s room/guest folio during a stay at a participating MGM Rewards destination. Casino charges, taxes, gratuities, and charges at any retail location within an MGM Rewards destination are not MGM Rewards-Eligible Incidental Spend. Members may receive World of Hyatt points on MGM Rewards-Eligible Incidental Spend, regardless of whether their stay at the participating MGM Rewards destination satisfies the definition of an MGM Rewards-Eligible Night.
You may earn World of Hyatt points at participating MGM Rewards destinations only on the MGM Rewards-Eligible Spend on your final hotel folio, provided that you may only earn points on a maximum of $5,000 of MGM Rewards-Eligible Incidental Spend (in addition to points earned on any MGM Rewards-Eligible Room Spend). What is considered an MGM Rewards-Eligible Night at the participating MGM Rewards destinations?
An MGM Rewards-Eligible Night is:
1. Any night where payment is made directly to a participating MGM Rewards destination; OR
2. Bookings made through hyatt.com (including World of Hyatt free night award stays); OR
3. Bookings made through a Hyatt Global Contact Center.
Reservations made through third party on-line sites and services (such as Expedia, Priceline or hotels.com), MGM Rewards complimentary room stays, master account group bookings, traditional wholesale rates, media rates, Hyatt employee discount rates, airline interrupted-trip vouchers, or contracted rooms are not MGM Rewards-Eligible Nights. In addition, for any stay at an MGM Rewards destination of fifteen (15) or more nights, no night of the stay will qualify as an MGM Rewards-Eligible Night, even if such night otherwise meets the requirements described above.
Can I earn World of Hyatt points on MGM Rewards-Eligible Incidental Spend even if my stay is ineligible?
Yes, you may charge your MGM Rewards-Eligible Incidental Spend to your room folio and earn World of Hyatt points, on up to $5,000 of MGM Rewards-Eligible Incidental Spend even if your stay does not qualify as an MGM Rewards-Eligible Night.
How many World of Hyatt points per dollar will I earn at the participating MGM Rewards destinations?
Members earn five (5) World of Hyatt Base Points for every US dollar of MGM Rewards-Eligible Spend at the participating MGM Rewards destinations.
Will Discoverists, Explorists and Globalists receive their World of Hyatt point bonus at participating MGM Rewards destinations?
Yes. All World of Hyatt members who elect to receive World of Hyatt points will earn five (5) Base Points for every dollar of MGM Rewards-Eligible Spend at the participating MGM Rewards destinations (up to the $5,000 maximum of MGM Rewards-Eligible Incidental Spend described above). Discoverists, Explorists, and Globalists will also receive their respective 10% point bonus, 20% point bonus and 30% point bonus as Bonus Points when they choose to earn World of Hyatt points.
Is there a limit on how many World of Hyatt points I can earn on MGM Rewards-Eligible Spend at the participating MGM Rewards destinations?
- There is no limit on how many World of Hyatt points you can earn on MGM Rewards-Eligible Room Spend.
- You may earn World of Hyatt points on up to $5,000 on MGM Rewards-Eligible Incidental Spend.
- You may not earn World of Hyatt points on any other charges during a stay at an MGM Rewards destination, including casino spend.
Can I earn World of Hyatt points on multiple rooms at participating MGM Rewards destinations?
You can earn World of Hyatt Base Points for up to three rooms per stay (member's room and two additional rooms). The World of Hyatt member must be a registered guest, occupy at least one of the rooms and pay for all three. To earn World of Hyatt points, each room must otherwise satisfy the requirements of an MGM Rewards-Eligible Night as described above.
The member will earn World of Hyatt Base Points for MGM Rewards-Eligible Spend on each of the rooms (subject to the $5,000 maximum on MGM Rewards-Eligible Incidental Spend), but the member will only earn a Tier-Qualifying Night(s) for one (1) room.
Do MGM Rewards-Eligible Nights at participating MGM Rewards destinations count towards World of Hyatt tier status?
Yes, Base Points earned from MGM Rewards-Eligible Spend will count towards a member’s World of Hyatt tier status. In addition, for each MGM Rewards-Eligible Night at a participating MGM Rewards destination, a member will earn one Tier-Qualifying Night towards World of Hyatt tier status.

No, World of Hyatt members cannot earn additional partner points other than World of Hyatt points and MGM Rewards Tier Credits at participating MGM Rewards destinations.
Can I convert my World of Hyatt points earned at MGM Rewards destinations into miles?
Yes, once you earn World of Hyatt points at participating MGM Rewards destinations, they are no different than the World of Hyatt points earned at Hyatt hotels and resorts, and so, they may be converted into miles.

No, you cannot convert World of Hyatt points into MGM Rewards Tier Credits.

Do I earn 3 World of Hyatt Bonus Points per eligible US dollar spent at participating MGM Rewards destinations while using the Hyatt Credit Card like I would at Hyatt hotels and resorts?
No. MGM Rewards destinations are not Hyatt hotels and resorts, so you will earn at participating MGM Rewards destinations as you would at any non-Hyatt hotel or resort. Bonus Points earned by paying for charges with the Hyatt Credit Card are in addition to the standard five (5) World of Hyatt Base Points for every dollar of MGM Rewards-Eligible Spend earned at the participating MGM Rewards destinations when electing to receive World of Hyatt points.
If I stay at a Hyatt hotel and forget to use my MGM Rewards number, can I still earn Tier Credits?
Members may request MGM Rewards Tier Credits for past stays at a Hyatt up to 12 months after checkout if you were a member of both MGM Rewards and the World of Hyatt program prior to checkout and you did not otherwise earn World of Hyatt points or Partner Loyalty Points for your stay.
